Sunday Morning Bible Study - 9:30AM, Labor Day to Memorial Day

Classes for children, teens and adults began on September 13 and will follow Year B of the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) until Advent, and Year C of the RCL thereafter.

Disciple Bible Study

This intensive 34-week study of the entire Bible, which met with great success in 2008-2009, is being offered again this year on Thursday evenings at 7:30PM. For further details contact Pat Bacon.

Intergenerational Vacation Bible School

 This year's Intergenerational Vacation Bible School was held on August 4th, 5th, and 6th, from 6:00 to 8:00 each evening. We learned about three important ideas from the Hebrew Bible - holiness, praxis and justice - and how they apply to feeding the hungry. We learned about hunger statistics, hunger awareness from speakers from Hillcrest Meals on Wheels, and The Cleveland Food Bank. We learned new songs, harvested church member's gardens, and donated the harvest and a monetary donation to the Cleveland Food Bank. Fifty pounds of vegetables were donated from members’ gardens, and a cash donation of $126.00! Thanks to everyone who helped make VBS 2009 a great success!
